Too often, brands treat Memorial Day like just another sales opportunity — a moment to push product and hit numbers. But to me (Maynor, CEO & Founder of Maestro Sportswear), that always felt wrong.
Memorial Day is a time to pause. To reflect. To remember those who gave everything in service of something greater than themselves.
That’s why this year, we approached it differently.
And while the intention might feel new to some — it’s not new to us.
At MAESTRO, we’ve led campaigns in support of causes like Breast Cancer Awareness, donating a percentage of proceeds and rallying our community around something bigger than sport.

But this is the first time I’ve spoken openly about why we choose to do things this way.
Not to monetize.
But to motivate.
To challenge the idea that every calendar date is just another excuse to run a sale.
To show that brands can stand for something more — and still show up with strength and purpose.
This Memorial Day, we launched our “One Nation. One Team.” campaign — rooted in unity, respect, and intention. Yes, we offered 25% off, but more importantly, we pledged 5% of all proceeds to Team RWB, a nonprofit enriching the lives of veterans through fitness, community, and connection.
This wasn’t about making money.
It was about making meaning.
Thanks to your support, we made it happen.

This is who we are.
This is how we move forward.
MAESTRO isn’t here to do things the easy way or the industry way. We’re here to lead with intention. To MAX OUT not just in sport, but in values, and community.
